Information We Collect
To provide our premium doorstep car cleaning services, we collect several categories of personal and technical data:
- Identity & Contact Info: Your name, phone number, and email address collected during registration.
- Vehicle Information: Make, model, color, registration plate number, and parking slot numbers (e.g., Basement 2, Slot 142) to identify and clean the correct car.
- Society & Residence Data: Gated society name, block number, apartment number, and gate access codes.
- Transaction History: Details of the subscription plans or single-wash items you purchase, payment logs, and transaction status (processed securely through third parties).
Location Data & GPS Tracking
How and why we use location coordinates:
Service Coverage Checks:When you search for coverage or register an account, we use your device's GPS location or typed address to verify if your gated society falls within our active service zones.
Verification & Wash Proof:When our clean professionals arrive at your society or vehicle parking slot, the system logs the GPS location of the wash log submission. This ensures that the services are delivered precisely at your car's slot, allows auditing by our operations center, and generates verified wash proof banners showing that the cleaner reached your vehicle.
Background Location: We do not track your background location when the app is closed. Location data is only gathered when the application is actively in use or during checkout verification steps.
How We Use Your Information
We utilize the collected information for various administrative and service fulfillment purposes:
- To establish and manage your user account, profile, and vehicles.
- To dispatch our cleaners to your specific parking slot during overnight cleaning hours.
- To verify service completion by uploading plate, context, and service photos showing before/after proof.
- To notify you about upcoming schedules, completed cleans, or payment reminders via push notifications, WhatsApp, or SMS.
- To process subscription billing and transaction histories securely through gateways.
- To investigate and resolve customer support queries or dispute charges.
Data Protection & Security
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure:
- Encryption: All personal data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols and is encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards in our secure cloud databases.
- Payment Data Security: Autovyx does not collect or store credit card numbers, net banking credentials, or UPI PINs. All payment processing details are handled directly by payment gateway providers (PhonePe) operating under strict PCI-DSS compliance standards.
- Access Logs: Staff access to vehicle parking layouts and contact information is strictly compartmentalized. Cleaners only receive the parking locations and vehicle details necessary to perform active tasks during their assigned shifts.
Data Retention & Sharing
Data Retention: We retain your personal profile, vehicle list, and transaction histories for as long as your account remains active or as required by applicable tax or legal frameworks in India.
Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell or trade your personal data. We share relevant data only with trusted partners under confidentiality agreements to operate our business:
- Payment processors (PhonePe) for secure checkout.
- SMS, Push Notification, and WhatsApp channel providers for transaction alerts.
- Security personnel at gated societies (where necessary to obtain entry permits).
